We are delighted to support Insane Root Theatre's upcoming production of Henry V in Temple Church this summer

We are delighted to support Insane Root Theatre‘s upcoming summer run of Shakespeare’s Henry V in Temple Church.

This activation is part of an ongoing project to help Temple Church to fulfil its potential as an asset for the community. Following the opening of the English Heritage site to the public in 2023, we’re excited to see this space used and appreciated.

Supporting improvements to Temple Church and Temple Gardens is a key feature in the Redcliffe & Temple BID 2021 Business Plan and we are pleased to be supporting this work.

You’re invited to witness Insane Root’s thrilling and unique outdoor production in Temple Church, from 19 June to 2 August 2025.

Featuring an all-female/non-binary cast, Henry V is bursting with original songs from acclaimed composer Ellian Showering (Rumpelstiltskin, The Tempest, Hansel & Gretel), and directed by Natalie Simone (nominated for Best Director in the Off West End Awards for The Ugly One).

Event information

Henry V is an Insane Root Theatre production, adapted by the company and with music by Ellian Showering.

Performance times:
Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 7:30pm
Thursdays & Fridays: 6pm and 8:30pm
Saturdays: 2.30pm and 7.30pm
Age recommendation: 10+

This is an open air theatre production with seating options including bench seating and limited reservable chairs. Unless specified, seating is unallocated. We can accommodate several wheelchairs at each performance – please contact Insane Root Theatre directly for Access bookings: team@insaneroot.org.uk

Full price admission £23.00, Open Concessions available at £18.00, Local Resident offer subject to availability from £12.50. Booking fees apply.
