The award-winning platform provides various opportunities for Redcliffe & Temple BID area businesses to truly make a difference by making the most of voluntary openings ranging from hands-on projects like gardening and building, to social and community work.

Launched in 1984, Volunteers’ Week is an annual UK-wide campaign held from the first Monday in June to celebrate and recognise the contributions of volunteers. Volunteers’ Week 2025 runs Monday 2 – Sunday 8 June.

Volunteering opportunities during volunteering week…

Friends of Magpie Bottom Nature Reserve | Tuesday 3 June

Volunteers will help keep footpaths at Magpie Bottom Nature Reserve clear of vegetation and work to a seasonal plan for clearing overgrown areas, but also plant bulbs, hedges, trees and wildflowers. This is a wonderful opportunity to help out and give back to the local community!

All tools are provided, and tasks will be allocated. Don’t forget to wear suitable clothes.
