Is your organisation prepared to deal with a terrorist incident? If an attack took place at or near your premises, do you or your staff know what to do to help keep people safe?
The sessions, facilitated by Counter Terrorism Policing South West, will guide you through some key areas to consider when writing or reviewing a Counter Terrorism (CT) plan; including communication, evacuation, lockdown, first aid and training. You will also be signposted to expert guidance that will help you construct policies and procedures for your organisation that could ultimately save lives.
The training covers key requirements under the law, including:
- Understanding your responsibilities depending on the size and type of your premises
- Developing appropriate response plans and procedures
- Staff awareness and training expectations
- Risk assessments and ongoing review practices
There will be time at the end of the even for Q&A should you have any questions.
These online sessions will take place on the following dates and times:
- Monday 28 July, 2-3pm
- Wednesday 27 August, 10-11am
- Tuesday 30 September, 11.30am-12.30pm
