Those Familiar Spirits is a re-telling of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, devised by Bristol Old Vic Theatre School’s Young Conservatoire (aged 16-18). Performed in the beautiful bombed-out ruins of Temple Church, the play asks how far we’ve heeded the warning of Miller’s text and unpicks what it means to perform The Crucible in 2025.
Devised by The Company and directed by Helen Morley.
This event is part of the community programme running alongside Insane Root’s production of Henry V at Temple Church, running 19 June – 2 August.
Brought to the Temple Church by Insane Root Theatre CIO and is supported with funding by The Nisbet Trust.
