Back by popular demand! Join Festival of Nature and expert zoologist Ed Drewitt for a one-hour wildlife boat tour of Bristol Harbour. Along the way, Ed will be pointing out the range of wildlife that uses the harbourside, from the plants that live in the stonewalls to the ducks and swans that make Bristol their home. Ed will also be telling stories about how all the waterways tie together making the river and harbour an ideal corridor for wildlife.

Ed Drewitt is a passionate zoologist and has been following his love for wildlife for over 40 years. He has been studying urban peregrines for the past 25 years, including in Bristol and Bath. Away from his research work Ed specialises in taking people out to see wildlife, including around the Bristol Harbourside. He also takes guests out to listen to birdsong and schools out fossil hunting. Ed has done extensive work with the BBC as a contributor, consultant and reporter over the past 20 years, appearing on shows including the BBC’s One Show, Springwatch and Autumnwatch and Radio 4 Natural History Radio. Ed is the author of books Urban Peregrines and Raptor Prey Remains.

This event is suitable for all ages.
