Building relationships with developers within the Redcliffe & Temple area. 2 December 2019
We were grateful for the opportunity to meet with independent developer Nord who have acquired the site adjacent to Bristol City Council's 100 Temple Street for the development of an exciting new office building, One Portwall Square. Katie from Nord described how the building, located in the heart of the proposed BID area, will be an exemplar office development fronted by a newly created landscaped pocket square which will provide most welcome public amenity. Completion is expected in Spring 2021 on the six-story building which will be home to roughly 300 staff. For more see here.
We were also pleased to hear from the developer behind Four Glass Wharf in Temple Quay. Dan Rees from Candour explained how the 210,000 square ft Grade A office is set to complete in Summer 2022 and will add much needed office stock to the growing commercial district of Redcliffe & Temple. Finally, earlier in the summer we met with leading developers, CEG, who are developing the Aspire building on Victoria Street next to 100 Temple Street. This Grade A seven story office building will complete the transformation of the area surrounding the former Temple roundabout. For more see here.
