Helping businesses stay better connected and informed for a safer city.
Founded in November 2019, the Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) supports over 100 members to prevent crime and ASB.
To deliver this, the BCRP has invested in the intelligence-sharing platform, DiSC, and an updated radio system. These both link businesses, the police, security teams and the council Operations Centre to share information that helps drive down crime across all business sectors.
Members can use the radios as a fast, easy, and reliable way to communicate and support each other when an issue arises. They can also contact the Operations Centre which functions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year or raise the alarm for urgent assistance when it is not possible to call 999.
The radio system operates day and night and supports the DiSC system. This is part of the BCRP’s investment to help businesses stay better connected and informed for a safer city.
