We have added 12 beautiful colourful planters to the Brunel Mile.
Introduction
We have added 12 beautiful colourful planters to the Brunel Mile, with seven outside Portwall Place and five on Redcliff Street outside Freshford House. The aim of the project is to add some much-needed greenery and colour to this key pedestrian route.
The planters have been filled with a range of low maintenance plants by local gardener Fiona Mackenzie which thrive in the spring and summer months.
When choosing the planting scheme, we were careful to make sure that the plants would survive with minimal maintenance and designed the planters themselves to ensure they could store a large amount of water with the reception teams also kindly agreeing to water the plants in summer.
