Bristol Heat Network Insights & Net Zero Ambitions

Sustainability networking event.

09/07/2022

On Thursday 7 July we were delighted to collaborate with the Bristol Property Agents Association to hold a networking and learning event at Burges Salmon on Glass Wharf.

Guest speakers, Jon Sankey from Bristol Heat Networks and Cllr. Kye Dudd from Bristol City Council gave inspiring updates on our progress and next steps in the decarbonisation of Bristol, the Bristol City Leap Energy Programme and Bristol Heat Networks as the city aims to achieve net zero by 2030.

Head of BID Steve Bluff also updated the attendees on our recently released Green Infrastructure Action Plan and encouraged people to complete the sustainability maturity assessment survey to help develop the BID’s Sustainability Charter.

The feedback from the sell out audience was very positive, and we will look to hold more of these type of informative networking sessions in the months ahead.

Please let us know if there were any topics you would like us to focus on that would appeal to our levy payers.
