Stress Awareness Month

Take charge of your mental health during Stress Awareness Month and beyond using our free online learning platform and lunchtime events.

05/04/2023

Welcome to Stress Awareness Month! Every year in April, we celebrate this occasion to increase awareness of the impact that stress can have on our lives, and to emphasise the significance of mental health and wellbeing. The daily pressures of life can often make us feel overwhelmed, which is why it is crucial to prioritise the welfare of both our staff and the broader community.

To support this cause, we have compiled a list of projects and events that will aid you in understanding stress and participating in stress-relieving activities. Let’s delve into these resources and learn how to take charge of your mental health during Stress Awareness Month and beyond.

Understanding Stress

To acknowledge Stress Awareness Month, we would like to draw attention to SeedL, our online learning platform that is free and offers a range of courses and resources. These resources aim to help you understand and manage stress in healthy and efficient ways.

If you are interested in learning about mindfulness, meditation, exploring various relaxation techniques, or understanding mental health, this platform has a wide range of resources to offer.

Regardless of the time you have available, whether it be 20 minutes, an hour, or more, you will be able to find courses that meet your needs and time limitations.

SeedL is a year-round offering available to levy payers, providing more than 200 live virtual subjects conducted through interactive webinars, which include CPD accredited courses. These courses can be accessed from your desk or while working remotely.
