Share the festive love by volunteering this Christmas.

With winter nights drawing in, the cost-of-living crisis and Christmas approaching, this time of year can be hard for many people. We have selected some ways in which you can support our Bristol community this winter particularly with Christmas in mind.

The opportunities are provided through Neighbourly, a volunteering and giving platform representing over 8,000 charities and community groups. Redcliffe & Temple BID have partnered with Neighbourly to provide the employees of our business with local volunteering opportunities as part of our goal to create a safe and caring community.

Christmas Cards and letters for Golden Oldies

Golden Oldies are looking for people to send Christmas cards, letters or children’s drawings for an event taking place on Friday 1st December to tackle isolation and loneliness in older people. The letters and cards will be opened by residents of Bristol who attend the Golden Oldies meet up events.
